ASHRAE Ireland Chapter attend ASHRAE Winter Conference
At the ASHRAE Winter Conference, the ASHRAE Ireland delegation — Howard Neville (ASHRAE Ireland President) , Dr John McKeon (ASHRAE Ireland Vice-President) , Conor Murray, and Donal Finn – connected with Mark J. of Knauf to discuss shared priorities around sustainability and supporting young engineers and professionals from the built environment.
This conversation comes at an important time as ASHRAE Region XIV Europe continues to grow, with the recent approval of two new chapters – BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg) and DACH (Germany, Austria & Switzerland) – reinforcing the need to support the next generation across the region.
Knauf ’s long-term approach to sustainable construction aligns strongly with Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), the current presidential theme of William McQuade, and with the goals of Dr John McKeon, ASHRAE Ireland Vice President and President-Elect (2026–2027). Through his work at iAIR Institute, Dr John continues to support healthy, sustainable buildings and occupant wellbeing.
Encouraging discussions as we work towards a healthier, more sustainable built environment across ASHRAE Region XIV Europe.
