Today, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, and Resiliency has never been more important.  If we build our buildings green, we can conserve energy and water, greatly lower GHG emissions and waste, and have a huge impact on the world – and the planet.  How do you get building owners interested in making their buildings greener?  How must we, as ASHRAE members, talk to the people who dole out the dollars?

About the Speaker: Jim Newman is an active member of many technical societies. Known as the “Dean of Green,” he regularly speaks across the U.S. and internationally to professionals, student groups and the media about sustainability and green technology. He has written many articles and been quoted internationally on these subjects. Today he uses his career expertise to help improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and energy efficiency in new and existing buildings – even more critical since the COVID-19 pandemic and the excessive wildfires and floods around the world.
