ASHRAE has released its technical program for the 2024 Decarbonization Conference, October 21-23, 2024 in New York City, at the Sheraton New York Time Square. The full program is available online.

“Our great conference Steering Committee has pulled together an outstanding program that will highlight the latest in policies and technologies driving decarbonization in tall buildings, and present case studies of some leading examples,” said Conference Chair, Adam Hinge. “We will have a packed three days of concurrent program sessions, with some building tours of example tall building decarb projects in New York City. This is a “don’t miss” event.”
The two-and-a-half-day conference includes six tracks, over 30 technical sessions, tours, and social experiences. The focus of the conference will be replicable decarbonization technical solutions for existing large and tall buildings, where the density of construction makes this sector one of the most difficult to decarbonize.

Keynote Session:
Rohit Aggarwala, New York City Chief Climate Officer and Commissioner of Environmental Protection will discuss the evolution of New York City’s building energy and climate laws with CIBSE President, Fiona Cousins, in a fireside chat conversation.
