Voting Begins for the 2024–25 ASHRAE Board of Directors Slate
President Dennis Knight, P.E., BEMP, Fellow ASHRAE; President-Elect Bill McQuade, P.E., Fellow ASHRAE; Treasurer Sarah E. Maston, P.E., BCxP
Online voting for the Society year 2024–2025 ASHRAE ballot opens on April 23, 2024, 9:00 a.m. EDT and runs until June 22, 2024, 4:00 p.m. EDT. Nominees’ current Society activities are provided to assist voters in choosing candidates to lead ASHRAE in the upcoming Society year. The 2024–25 Executive Committee will include the president, president-elect, treasurer, four vice presidents and secretary (who is a non-voting member). Dennis Knight, P.E., BEMP, Fellow ASHRAE, will serve as Society president for 2024–25, as he was elected president-elect on the 2023–2024 ballot. Read more
During the 2024 ASHRAE Winter Conference President's Lunch, ASHRAE recognized the ongoing support of the Research Promotion (RP) Campaign's Major Donors and several RP milestones. In 2022–2023, the RP Campaign raised $2.7M and more than 4,400 ASHRAE members, businesses and friends of ASHRAE made gifts. Two chapters each raised over $135,000 and gifts through RP helped fund 74 ASHRAE scholarships, 39 research projects and several grants-in-aid. Donors support not only the unique technical research programs that ASHRAE implemented more than 100 years ago, but also ASHRAE’s comprehensive educational activities, scholarships and YEA - Young Engineers in ASHRAE. Read more

Since 1972, Herrick Labs has hosted the premier international conferences on compressor engineering, refrigeration, air-conditioning and high performance buildings. This year, the conferences will be held from July 15-18, 2024 at Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana. More than 800 industry experts from 30 countries come to Purdue University to present cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, do some personal networking and tour the amazing facilities of Herrick Labs.
