Since 1995, countries from around the world belonging to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) have convened annually to discuss and measure progress on combatting climate change at The Conference of the Parties (COP). ASHRAE has taken part in COP since 2021 sharing information on the solutions, standards, and opportunities ASHRAE provides to address decarbonization of the global built environment. This year COP28 will take place in the Dubai, UAB, from November 30-December, 2023. Read more

In October, HVAC&R industry stakeholders gathered for the 2023 Decarbonization Conference for the Built Environment in Washington, D.C., where thought leaders, consulting engineers, architects and others gathered to discuss the prospective, exciting opportunities in reducing the carbon footprint of buildings. ASHRAE India Chapter organized the 3rd edition of N.C. Gupta Memorial Intercollege Football Tournament on September 16, 2023. The event was well appreciated by the industry, committee members, students, faculty members and YEA members.
