CIBSE-ASHRAE Group in collaboration with Engineers Ireland hosted a evening session on Combined Heat and Power, where two interesting and informative presentations were given.
Paul Martin, SEAI opened the event by giving an informative and comprehensive summary of recent CHP policy developments in Ireland, including support measures available from SEAI and other Irish agencies.
John Hyde, Sales Manager, Centrica Business Solutions, UK and Ireland, focused on current and emerging technical solutions in the CHP field. In addition, John presented a number of case studies from his experience with Centrica and included applications in the commercial, residential, district heating, food and beverage, manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors.
The event was attended by approximately 50 attendees and was followed by a lively question and answer session
